সাধারণত এক word = 1byte বা 8 bit। প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত 1 word হলো microprocessor এর এক word কথা বলা হয়েছে তাই microprocessor এর এক word 2 byte বা16 বিট। a word is 2 bytes (16 bits)। The fundamental data types of the Intel Architecture are bytes, words, doublewords, and quadwords. A byte is eight bits, a word is 2 bytes (16 bits), a doubleword is 4 bytes (32 bits) and a quadword is 8 bytes (64 bits).
